Taiyaba Ahmed - Owner & Instructor
Taiyaba is a ceramic artist from Pakistan who now calls Austin home. She runs the glaze department at a production pottery studio in the heart of Austin during the weekdays, and loves sharing her knowledge and skills with like-minded creatives on weekends. She fell in love with pottery in July 2018 when she signed up for a pottery class. On her very first class, she knew this was it for her and she has not looked back since. Her passion for sharing this love of pottery with others and creating a community is what gave birth to Mud Club.
Jessie Le - Instructor
Jessie, originally from New York, found a passion for ceramics in her last year of art school in 2018. She developed a passion for art very early on in her life. Originally trained in painting and printmaking, she fell in love with the sustainability and creativity involved in pottery. She discovered how powerful a medium pottery was for providing a community of artists and art lovers to support each other’s creative and personal growth. The truly inspiring experiences she has had surrounding ceramics, has grown her love for art even more. She has always dreamt of sharing her passion and is excited to guide others on methods and mediums, pulling from a variety of different art forms, to creating new pieces. Get ready to think creatively, make great memories all while crafting beautiful pieces in the process with Mud Club.
